As principal double bass player of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Matthias Beltinger was familiar with the problem: Conventional orchestra podiums serve as risers, but do not improve the sound. Since there was no podium with a sound concept on the market, Matthias found Bernhard Prösler, a design carpenter, who has worked on Hifi sound boxes for a long time. With him together they experimented with different wood, sizes and shapes for a podium, until they were able to develop a resonance podium with a clear sound concept behind. Now the idea of Resonanzio podiums was born. They are the result of curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and patience. Our current products are based on a two-year development phase and more than ten years of application experience.

High-quality design, the craftsmanship of modern acoustic element construction, and the use of exquisite tonewoods – this combination makes Resonanzio podiums unique in the world. They are the result of curiosity, a spirit of experimentation, and patience. Each podium is individually crafted in our small factory in Bremen, Germany, in approximately 200 steps.

That was a great experience, I haven't enjoyed playing that much at the Barbican for years. My bass felt so free and resonant, all of the wolf notes disappeared. They really are fantastic risers!
Colin Paris - Ehem. Solo-Kontrabassist London Symphony Orchestra

Not only do we hear ourselves better, our instruments sound like they've been replaced, as if a 'new engine' had been installed.
Simon Hartmann - Soloist Double Bass Symphonic Orchestra St. Gallen

It's absolutely fascinating how clear and transparent the bass section now sounds! What a great invention!
Alondra de la Parra - Conductor

What a joy to be able to play on the Resonanzio podium! My harp sounds wonderfully free and transparent!
Antonia Schreiber - Harpist

Every concert hall should have a Resonanzio soloist platform!
Kian Soltani - Cellist
Conventional podiums merely serve as a heightening element. The Resonanzio podiums, with their carefully thought-out concept of significantly improving sound, are a highly effective acoustic module for concert halls thanks to their resonant board made of the finest tonewood.

With the flexible height of the resonance platforms, cellists don't sit significantly higher than the other musicians in the orchestra. The Classic resonance platforms are now used by cello sections in many symphony and chamber orchestras around the world.

Yes, the resonance platforms are very well suited for large, reverberant spaces such as churches. The sound of bass instruments, viols, wind instruments, and even harpsichords or chest organs is perceived in a focused and much more articulate manner.
